REISSER R2 screws are manufactured from specially hardened steel, providing exceptional tensile and torsional strength for demanding applications. They feature a zinc and yellow finish that offers excellent resistance to corrosion, along with a Teflon® lubrication that reduces friction, making installation faster and more efficient.
The deep, sharply rolled thread combined with the cylindrical shape helps prevent splitting in the material while delivering greater retention and holding power. Thanks to their strength, a smaller gauge screw can often be used compared to twin-thread alternatives. The sharp point and thread design allow the screw to bite instantly, removing the need for rough drilling in most cases.
